Visitors to Odds Farm Park near Beaconsfield were treated to a Half Term Hoedown during May half term.

Across the week, families witnessed sheep shearing demonstrations, partook in welly-wanging competitions, and partook in Do-Si-Do with Farmer Oddsocks and his family.

The farm, which specialises in nurturing rare breeds, also introduced guests to newly-born lambs, kid goats and piglets.

Louise Winslow, assistant general manager, said: "Sheep shearing is a key event in the farming calendar.

"Our sheep need to be sheared over half term to relieve them of heavy wool that might cause them to overheat in the summer.

"We have over 140 sheep on site with shearing taking place every day of the half term holiday.

"It's quite a spectacle and we're looking forward to sharing it with our guests!"

She added: "We will also have our arts and crafts marquee open with cowboy headbands and sheriff badges for little ones to enjoy making."

Besides these attractions, Odds Farm Park also boasts weather-proof indoor and outdoor entertainment options, including a soft-play barn, an outdoor adventure play area, Marmalade's Mini Golf, a Tractor and Trailer ride, H2Odds water play area and Marmalade's Mini Rovers.
