Chiltern Railways is advising customers to find alternative transport amid disruption to all services caused by signalling issues.

A fault in the signalling system between London Marylebone and Neasden South Junction has caused disruption and cancellations across the rail network this morning (June 4).

Many trains running between Buckinghamshire and London on the Chiltern Railways line have been cancelled or delayed by up to 45 minutes.

The system fault follows overnight work carried out by Network Rail.

A spokesperson for Chiltern Railways said passengers should “not travel” on the line while issues persist.

Valid tickets are being accepted on the London Underground between Amersham and Baker Street on the Metropolitan line and between West Ruislip and Central London on the Central line.

They can also be transferred to Great Western Railway journeys between Banbury, Oxford and stations to Paddington, Avanti West Court trains between Euston and Birmingham New Street, East Midlands Railway between St Pancras and Leicester and CrossCountry between Birmingham New Street to Leicester and Birmingham New Street to Reading.
