UPDATE: Scarlett has now been found.
A WOMAN has been arrested in connection with the disappearance of a missing girl.
Thames Valley Police is searching for missing Scarlett, 16, who went missing from Ilford, London on May 24.
She was last seen in central Milton Keynes at about 4pm on Friday, May 31.
Scarlett is around 5ft 6ins tall, of medium build and may be wearing a light green short playsuit. She also has links to Stony Stratford.
A 52-year-old woman from Stony Stratford has been arrested in connection with the investigation. She remains in police custody.
Inspector Jared Levens, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “We are concerned for Scarlett’s welfare and are appealing for the public’s help to locate her.
“If you see Scarlett, please call us on 999, quoting reference number 43240254584.
“Anyone with information on her whereabouts should make a report on our website.”
