This is the shocking moment a driver was seen travelling the wrong way on the A404 dual carriageway near High Wycombe.
A passenger in a vehicle on the southbound carriageway, heading towards Marlow, filmed a car travelling in the same direction – but on the opposite side of the road.
It happened on Saturday, May 25, just before the Handy Cross roundabout in High Wycombe.
In the video, other vehicles on the northbound carriageway can be seen staying in the left-hand lane to avoid a head-on collision with the driver, who was in the right-hand lane.
The BMW car had its hazards on as it was driving towards oncoming traffic. The bonnet appeared to be slightly ajar too.
Thames Valley Police has been contacted for a comment.
