MARCH '24

SIMON COKE, 51, of Wordsworth, Bracknell. Convicted of driving without third-party insurance on December 9, 2023. Also convicted of drink-driving at Bracknell on December 9, 2023. The proportion of alcohol in his breath – namely 148 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath – was found to be above the legal limit. Jailed for 16 weeks. Disqualified from driving for five years and two months. Driving licence endorsed. Must also pay £85 in court costs and a £154 victim surcharge.

HEIDI PROUT, 45, of The Haywards, Thatcham, convicted of drink-driving in Bath Road, Thatcham, on January 13, 2024. The proportion of alcohol in her breath was 91 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath. Disqualified from driving for 24 months. Given a community order to carry out up to 20 days of rehabilitation activities. Must also pay a £120 fine and a £114 victim surcharge.

MARIUSZ MUSZYKNSKI, 28, of Catherine Street, Reading, convicted of assault by beating on April 23, 2023. Also convicted of damaging property on the same day, namely a glass door belonging to Moon’s Grill Café in Reading. Also convicted of damaging property on the same day, namely food and drink belonging to Moon’s Grill Café. Also convicted of damaging property on the same day, namely a glass sneeze guard belonging to Moon’s Grill Café. Given a community order. Must carry out up to 20 days of rehabilitation activities. Must also complete 80 hours of unpaid work. Must also pay £1,700 in compensation, £85 in court costs and a £114 victim surcharge.

NORVAISAS VYTAUTAS, 41, of Burn Moor Chase, Bracknell. Drove without due care and attention in Wokingham on August 19, 2023. Driving licence endorsed with four points. Fined £220. Must pay £110 in court costs and an £88 victim surcharge.

MICHAEL BIRYOMUNASIHO, 54, of Wensley Road, Reading, convicted of failing to provide a specimen for analysis to the police on February 17, 2024. Also convicted of driving while disqualified on the same day. Given a community order. Must undertake alcohol treatment for a period of six months. Must also carry out up to 20 days of rehabilitation activities. Disqualified from driving for four years. Must also pay £85 in court costs.

PAUL GAUDREAU, 58, of Caleta Close, Caversham, convicted of stalking a woman at Reading on January 9, 2023. Given a community order. Must carry out up to 20 days of rehabilitation activities. Must also complete 120 hours of unpaid work. Made subject to a restraining order – must not contact victim. Must pay £775 in court costs and a £114 victim surcharge.

SEAN CARTER, 32, of Corwen Road, Tilehurst, convicted of travelling at Newbury Racecourse rail station without paying a fare on November 21, 2023. Must pay a £220 fine, £10.60 in compensation, £180 in court costs and an £88 victim surcharge.
