A footpath that runs along the 18th-century country estate Shardeloes just outside Amersham has been closed until Thursday, May 16.
According to a notice issued by Buckinghamshire Council, the closure is to facilitate a filming project, the nature of which has not been disclosed.
The path was closed for pedestrian access yesterday, Tuesday, May 14, and will remain so until May 16, with an alternative route via Mop End Lane indicated via signage.
Shardeloes has played host to a number of film and TV productions over the years and advertises close links with Pinewood and Leavesden on its website.

The estate has previously featured in Midsomer Murders, Kingsman: The Golden Circle and the Joan Collins film The Time of Their Lives.
Shardeloes has also been the backdrop of the popular Channel 4 series Taskmaster alongside other spots in Buckinghamshire, the home county of the programme’s creator Alex Horne.
Episodes have been shot at the estate’s equestrian centre, as well as at Chesham Football Club, The Black Horse Inn in Chesham and the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre in Aylesbury.
