In the footage, a police officer can be heard shouting to a colleague "have you been shot?" and "get into hard cover".
A resident, who wished to remain anonymous, said: "There was a lot of trouble on Wednesday night. It was very loud. Not sure what happened but it all quietened down after an hour or so.
"Apparently this evening he got into another argument with a neighbour - and there was some incident regarding a car (Lexus).
"I don’t know much else but it sounds like after the confrontation with the neighbour, he appeared with a crossbow and was walking around being a bit of a menace.
"Police arrived and he’s shot one in the leg, before being shot himself by armed police.
"Another neighbour has been injured at some point but is stable. This is what I have managed to piece together based on what my wife saw from the window, my daughter heard (she was playing in the park) and an off duty police officer at the scene told me."
Thames Valley Police has not confirmed any details yet.
