The Free Press asked the local authority whether air testing is being carried out, following the fire services' advice to residents to keep windows and doors shut.

Bucks Council said any concerns regarding toxicity of fumes is the Environment Agency's responsibility.

They confirmed that no air testing is being carried out at the site.

Adding: “The council is aware of this incident and the ongoing concern it is causing. Bucks Fire and Rescue have been managing the incident with the landowner.

"They had advised local people with any concerns about the smoke to shut doors and windows and to keep a distance from the smouldering materials."
