A poacher has been fined over £1,000 after being caught trespassing on private land in Bucks.
John Cooper, 30 from Minety in Wiltshire, travelled to Little Marlow back in January.
He was caught trespassing in a field.
On April 26, he appeared before High Wycombe Magistrates' Court.
There, he pleaded guilty to a charge of daytime trespass in pursuit of game.
Cooper accepted that he trespassed in search of game, woodcocks, snipes or conies.
As a result, magistrates ordered that he pay £707 in compensation, as well as a £346 fine and a £138 victim surcharge.
In addition, Cooper will have to forfeit the ball bearings he was caught with for destruction.
