A footpath in Amersham will be closed for three days for mystery filming.
The path, which runs across 18th-century country house Shardeloes, just outside Amersham, will be closed for pedestrian access from Tuesday, May 14.
In a closure notice, Buckinghamshire Council said the closure was to ensure “public safety” while filming takes place.
Although the length of the closure was not specified in the notice, residents believe it will be in place for three days, until Thursday, May 16.

An alternative route via Mop End Lane will be indicated via signage, and the council confirmed that the disruption to local walkers would definitely not exceed six months.
It has not been disclosed what the filming will be for, but the Shardeloes estate has featured in a number of film and TV productions in the past and advertises close links with Pinewood and Leavesden Studio on its website.
