Lane End residents are set to benefit from a more frequent bus service from May 19.
Carousel Buses are revamping existing services, launching a new service 4 which will operate every 30 minutes.
The changes are set to replace current services 8/X8/28/28A alongside Arriva service 4.
The newly established service is the result of a contract between Carousel Buses and Buckinghamshire Council.
It will amalgamate the old service 4 with the Park and Ride service whilst creating improved links between Lane End, Booker, Cressex, and the town centre.
Critically, the new Service 4 will present residents with direct connections to Handy Cross Coachway and Castle Street, significantly improving accessibility to the Railway Station.
The service will maintain the same route daily around Cressex, enhancing consistency for passengers.
The new fleet of buses is scheduled to traverse from High Wycombe via Wycombe General Hospital to the Coachway before proceeding to Cressex Industrial Estate, Booker Asda, Wycombe Air Park, and finally Lane End.
However, services towards Wheeler End, New Road in Stokenchurch, or Cadmore End will be discontinued.
Residents from Sands on the existing Arriva service 4 can still utilise High Wycombe PickMeUp, offering a demand-responsive transport service to Hillbottom Road and Lane End Road.
