Part of a town centre road will close for more than two weeks as work is carried out to install electricity cables.

Next month, the installation of a new HV cable will be taking place on Oxford Road.

The road will be closed west bound only from Monday, May 6 until Sunday, May 19.

Drivers have been warned there will be no right turn from Bellfield Road onto Oxford Road.

Mua Electricity Limited is responsible for the works, which has been approved by Buckinghamshire Council.

A diversion route has been put in place to help motorists navigate the road closure.

Drivers will have to continue for 507 metres on Bridge Street,  continue on Bridge Street for 132.60m then turn right towards Desborough Road for 105.70 metres. Take a sharp left towards Westbourne Street and continue for 193.90 metres.
