As we edge closer to the announcement of the main festival programme, Henley Literary Festival has announced a pop-up in June with TV legend and Sunday Times bestselling author Richard Madeley.
Richard, co-creator of the hugely popular Richard and Judy Book Club, has written three Sunday Times bestselling novels, Some Day I’ll Find You, The Way You Look Tonight, The Night Book and the critically acclaimed biography Fathers and Sons.
He’s making his Henley Literary Festival debut with his gripping new revenge thriller, Father’s Day, at a pop-up event at Christ Church, a week before Father’s Day on June 16.
Set in the picturesque Cotswolds, Father’s Day explores the power of paternal love, the evil of online trolling, and the morality of extrajudicial punishment.
Festival director Harriet Reed Ryan said: “We’re excited to welcome Richard to Henley for the first time – joining us for a pop-up with his gripping new fiction book.”
Join the event on June 6 at 6pm at Christ Church.
Tickets are priced at £15 for one ticket only, or £20 for a book and ticket, and are available on the festival's website.
Prospective visitors can also call 01491 575948 between 10am and 2pm on Mondays through to Thursdays.
