A man has been handed a suspended sentence after assaulting a woman in front of a hotel manager.
Viqas Ahmed, of Patrick Haugh Road, Arncott, appeared before High Wycombe Magistrates' Court on December 5, 2023.
The court heard how, between July 24 and July 27, 2022, Ahmed attacked a woman in Taplow.
The assault was witnessed by a hotel manager.
The defendant pleaded guilty to a charge of assault by beating.
As a result, he was handed a 23-week jail sentence, suspended for 18 months.
He must complete an accredited 30-day programme, 200 hours of unpaid work, and 30 days of rehabilitation activities.
