Plans to change the use of a former conference centre in Wycombe for flats have been withdrawn, Buckinghamshire Council has said.
Block G of Uplands House at Four Ashes Road, Cryers Hill was earmarked for three residential units.
However, the applicant for the change of use application, Uplands High Wycombe LLP, has withdrawn its plans, which also included some internal and external alterations.
Block G has been marketed as flats for more than 12 months and has remained on the market as a commercial space.

However, no interest has been expressed for the renting or leasing of this part of the building, the applicant said.
The space has also been used as the site office and part storage for the duration of the development so far.
Planning documents stated: “No works have taken place in this part of the building, other than the implementation of the ground bearing slab of the extended conservatories at either side of the building.
“As the development is nearing completion in the next 12-15 months, the developers want to find a beneficial use for this important part of the listed complex instead of having a redundant space.
“After reviewing the current market, the best use for this space and location is residential, which would tie into the broader residential complex.”
Uplands House was built in 1859 by Captain Hewitt as the first building on the site and is believed to have been designed by the architect Edward Bucton Lamb.
