MCDONALD'S bosses have addressed rumours its ASDA branch is closing in High Wycombe.
Just as the new drive-thru opened in Crest Road today (April 24) rumours had been brewing about the McDonald's in ASDA closing.
Residents believed that the opening of the bigger 160 seater restaurant in Crest Road would mean the closing of the Asda branch.

The two restaurants are within 2 minutes drive so it would make some sense.
However, franchisee Alan Butchers, who now owns and operates eight McDonald’s restaurants in Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire, confirmed: "The Asda branch will stay despite rumours.
"'We're very excited to open our fourth McDonald's branch in High Wycombe.
"We believe there is a demand in the area."
The new 160-seater restaurant will create around 80 new full and part-time jobs for the local community and will feature table service, self-ordering kiosks, a large outside patio area and a Drive-Thru with Smart Digital Drive-Thru menu boards.
