Police have seized a car in Buckinghamshire this week due to having no MOT or tax.
A vehicle in Amersham caught the attention of Thames Valley roads policing shift officers on Wednesday, April 17.
Police described the Fiat as a 'rust bucket' after their ANPR camera flagged the vehicle had no insurance or MOT.
Police said on social media: "This rust bucket drove past our Thames Valley roads policing shift officers on Wednesday, April 17, and had pinged our ANPR camera to tell us it had no insurance, despite the owner being written to."
Subsequent checks revealed a lack of MOT, expired tax as of January 31 this year and an expired driver's license.
The vehicle was seized and driver reported at the roadside.
By law, it’s an offence to drive a vehicle on a public road in the UK without valid road tax.
