Kelly Osbourne has defended her mother, Sharon, following the latter’s public spat with television and radio presenter, Amanda Holden.
Holden, 53, wrote an article for the Daily Mail where he labelled both Osbourne and music talent manager Louis Walsh as ‘bitter and pathetic’ following the duo’s views on music titan, Simon Cowell.
The three had worked together on the ITV talent show, ‘The X Factor’ between 2004 and 2017, but in this year’s edition of Celebrity Big Brother in which Osbourne and Walsh were contestants, the former suggested that Cowell ‘didn’t know how to keep friends’.

Following the conversation, Holden, who has worked with Cowell since 2007 following the introduction of ‘Britian’s Got Talent’, said in a Daily Mail article that the former talent show judges were ‘bitter and pathetic.’
She also compared the duo’s behaviour to the Ugly Sisters from Cinderella.
Osbourne responded to the article with a lengthy social media post in which she referenced her Jordans-based mansion near Beaconsfield.
She, along with her husband, Ozzy, have had the property for several decades but had lived in the US since the mid-to-late 2000s, before moving back to the Thames Valley in 2023.
Following the criticism, Osbourne shared on X (formerly known as Twitter): “'Our worlds are different.
"I have been blessed with an amazing lifestyle throughout my entire life.
“Before you were born, I was living in a mansion in Beverly Hills and continue to do so today and continue to have my country estate in England as well.
“But there is something you should know.
“I never discuss money, lifestyle or positions of power.
“I find it to be classless and crude.”
She continued: 'It was only after several seasons of X Factor that Simon started to build his music empire and I give him much kudos for what he built.
“When I met my husband [Ozzy] I was already very well established in the music industry.
“Having worked with bands like Electric Light Orchestra, Motorhead, Smashing Pumpkins, Gary Moore, The Move , Roy Woods, Wizzard, Linsey de Paul, Breitt Ekland and Black Sabbath to name a few.
“I think you must have forgotten my husband is a music icon who has sold 170 million albums, won multiple Grammy Awards, and is a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee.”
Her daughter, Kelly, also took to social media to back her mum.
On her recent Instagram story, the TV personality, 39, shared a cryptic clip by author Daniel Chidiac which discussed not letting people disrespect you.
In the clip, Daniel said: "Some people are so delusional that they think it's disrespectful when you don't just sit back and allow them to disrespect you anymore."
