Television personality, record prouder and music manager Sharon Osbourne has referenced her Jordans-based property in a public spat with fellow celebrity, Amanda Holden.

Osbourne, 71, along with her husband, Ozzy, had lived in Los Angeles, California for several years, but returned to the Thames Valley in the autumn of 2023.

Their mansion in South Buckinghamshire is roughly 120 years-old, with the Osbourne family living in the property before their move to the US in the mid-to-late 2000s.

However, their abode, which is based in Jordans near Beaconsfield, was referenced by Osborne in a lengthy social media post aimed at television and radio presenter, Amanda Holden.

Holden, 53, had labelled both Osbourne and music talent manager Louis Walsh as ‘bitter and pathetic’ following the duo’s views on music titan, Simon Cowell.

The three had worked together on the ITV talent show, ‘The X Factor’ between 2004 and 2017, but in this year’s edition of Celebrity Big Brother in which Osbourne and Walsh were contestants, the former suggested that Cowell ‘didn’t know how to keep friends’.

Following the conversation, Holden, who has worked with Cowell since 2007 following the introduction of ‘Britian’s Got Talent’, said in a Daily Mail article: “I hated seeing certain people in a reality show dissing Simon - he's the person who's given them all the chances, given them a lot of money and a lifestyle they probably wouldn't have had.

"It's bitter and pathetic. It was like Cinderella with her two sisters in the background - just stabby, stabby, stabby.”

Osbourne responded with a public post on X (formerly known as Twitter), with a segment stating: “The truth is, you don’t know me, Amanda or any of my close friends.

“You know nothing about my history in the music industry, my achievements, the artists I have worked with, the shows I’ve produced, and my global celebrity.

“Unlike you, the brand of Sharon Osbourne is known worldwide.

“There are many countries that I could work in if I choose to, however, I don’t have the ambition or time to do so.

“Our worlds are completely different.

“I have been blessed with an amazing lifestyle throughout my entire life.

“Before you were born, I was living in a mansion in Beverly Hills and continue to do so today, and continue to have my country estate in England.”

That country estate being the Osbourne’s property in Jordans.

It continued: “Yes, Simon [Cowell], paid me very well.

“Probably more than what you’re receiving today, but all of that my darling went on a few handbags.”
