Yungblud, a singer-songwriter known for hits including Parents and Happier, is preparing to shake up the music industry with an affordable cross-genre festival, held in Milton Keynes this summer.
Bludfest will take place at the Milton Keynes Bowl on August 11, headlined by YungBlud – whose real name is Dom Harrison – alongside a mix of big names and up-and-comers.
Dom made the decision to fix ticket prices for Bludfest at £49.50 after becoming disillusioned by the increasing inaccessibility of modern music festivals, he told the Associated Press this week.
He added that festivals should be about “having fun and making memories” and criticised the “massive ticket prices” that “most of the time aren’t really going to the artist anyway”.
The acts joining him onstage at the Bowl this August include The Damned, Lil Yachty, Soft Play and Lola Young.
Tickets went on sale yesterday (March 22) and are available to buy here.
