A man in Chesham Bois will build a sauna, ice bath and office in his back garden, if a planning application is approved.
The new facilities are part of Allen Chilten’s plans to overhaul the grounds of his property ‘Oakwood’ in Castell Grove.
The applicant’s luxurious six-bedroom home is one of four houses in a leafy gated community off Clifton Road.
Mr Chilten also plans to install a cold outdoor shower, outdoor kitchen, pergola, bench and water feature.

These would be accompanied by a vegetable garden, wildflower meadow planting, new paths and a decking area surrounding the new office.
The sauna, just a short walk from the office, would be a freestanding ‘Arbor V’ model, capable of accommodating five people or two lying down.
The existing large home already boasts an outdoor ‘entertainment terrace’ with speakers, as well as an entrance hall, cinema/drawing room, open-plan kitchen/breakfast area, games/media room and double garage.
