The site chosen for the film set, housing temporary structures such as an outbuilding, an "electricity substation", "telegraph poles", a gravel hardstanding area, bee hives and post and rail fencing, was selected to ensure minimum interference with the surrounding greenery, landscape plus local amenities, yet offering safe access for construction vehicles, crew and visitors.
As a part of the project, significant production activity at the site will primarily occur during the rehearsal and filming stage, from July 1 to August 18.
Most of this work will take place on weekdays, with exact dates and times to be confirmed.
According to an inside source, "during preparation phases, crew (e.g. "carpenters) will usually arrive on site between 7am to 9am."
Both before and after the filming phase, with so many hands on deck including the cast and crew, the potential for noise disturbances during the temporary 25-week duration of project has been addressed, stating in particular that the "noise will be managed properly, thanks to effective response mechanisms the production company will put in place."
The filming project is anticipated to bring significant economic gains to Fawley area of Wycombe.
The creators predict that the local services and facilities will be boosted by an enhanced supply chain, and the local economy will benefit from direct as well as indirect and induced multipliers, thus outweighing any temporary inconvenience to the landscape.
