A man has been fined after he was caught driving close to the national speed limit in a 30 mile per hour zone.
Nigel Fairclough, 58, of Little Marlow Road in Marlow, pleaded guilty to speeding through Flackwell Heath on August 1, 2023.
He was caught at Treadaway Hill - a 30mph zone - driving a Jeep at 58mph.
The defendant appeared before High Wycombe Magistrates' Court on March 12.
There, he admitted to the offence, and was fined £500 by the court.
Magistrates also added six penalty points to Fairclough's licence - half the number a driver can accrue within a three-year period before being disqualified.
