There are 14 flood alerts issued across Buckinghamshire today.
A warning is in place for properties closest to the River Wye and Hughenden Stream due to recent rainfall.
Residents have been warned to avoid using low-lying roads and footpaths near local watercourses.
Areas most at risk are properties in Colne Brook in Iver and there's groundwater flooding in Chesham.
A flood alert has also been issued for Bear Brook and tributaries in the Aylesbury area, including Wendover and Weston Turville.
Recent rain has also seen flooding for the River Thame, Horsenden Stream and Chalgrove Brook.
Wednesday is forecast to be mostly dry and river levels are expected to rise throughout today.
