Drivers will have to adjust their regular routes while a utility company carries out urgent works on Pound Lane in Marlow for more than two weeks this month.
Residents in Marlow have been warned to avoid Pound Lane between Monday, March 11 and Thursday, March 28 while “major” utility asset works take place.
Buckinghamshire Council has granted Cadent Gas permission to close the footway and carriageway on Pound Lane for two-and-a-half weeks, beginning next Monday.
Drivers have been told to expect delays, with an alternative footway route set to be indicated for pedestrians.

While the company has the authority to close the road for the entirety of the designated period, the roadworks may commence after the proposed start date or be completed before the proposed end date.
