A popular wine shop opens its doors in Marlow today, Friday, March 8.

Following an ‘incredibly busy few weeks’, Majestic Wine will open the doors at its new store at Angers Court on Spittal Street in Marlow at 10am this morning.

In a statement posted to the wine retailer’s social media, a staff member at the new store said they were looking forward to meeting residents in the town after already receiving a “warm welcome” from passersby over the last few weeks.

The company saw its best-ever Christmas sales at the end of 2023, ahead of its expansion into Marlow – an area that a company spokesperson previously said was a “perfect fit” for the specialist wine brand.

John Colley, CEO of Majestic Wine, added: “We are excited about the prospect of bringing our market-leading proposition to the area and helping new customers enjoy the Majestic experience with our qualified experts and award-winning wine ranges.”

The chain is currently embarking on a large-scale growth project, including opening 15 new stores across the UK over the last four years.
