A MAN has been charged with attempted murder after a woman was attacked on Sunday.
The woman in her 40s was assaulted in Melbourne Road near Micklefield park in High Wycombe on Sunday, February 18.
She suffered serious injuries and remains in hospital in a critical condition at this time.
Police charged Darren Robertson, 38, of no fixed abode with one count of attempted murder yesterday.
Robertson appeared at High Wycombe Magistrates Court this morning (February 20) and has been remanded in custody.
He is due to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on March 19.
