A popular wine shop will open a new branch in Marlow in just a few weeks time.
Majestic Wine, the largest specialist wine retailer in the UK, will open its doors to the people of Marlow on Friday, March 8, from its venue in Anglers Court, Spittal Street.
The company saw its best-ever Christmas sales at the end of 2023 ahead of its expansion into the Thames-side town, with a spokesperson describing Marlow as a "perfect fit" for the brand.
Speaking about the new shop, John Colley, CEO of Majestic Wine, said Marlow had been identified as one of 70 locations across the UK where he had previously spotted "an opportunity to expand".
Adding: "We are excited about the prospect of bringing our market-leading proposition to the area and helping new customers enjoy the Majestic experience with our qualified experts and award-winning wine ranges."

The specialist wine shop is currently embarking on a large-scale growth plan which has included 15 new stores appearing across the UK over the last four years.
Majestic Wine, which sells beers and spirits alongside a range of speciality vinos, also operates a unique 'Shop Local' scheme that enables residents to browse in-stock produce from their closest store in real time.
Additionally, each existing branch has a delivery van dedicated to ferrying orders to local households, a service that will likely be a feature of Majestic's Marlow presence.
