The signs of a new McDonald's and Aldi have gone up in High Wycombe in anticipation of its opening.
The new restaurant is located in Crest Road, High Wycombe as part of Aldi funding the construction of a new crossing point to the site from John Hall Way.
Although a date hasn't been set for the new drive-thru McDonalds, Aldi announced it will be opening in May.
Signs appeared this weekend at the Cressex site with the classic yellow logo and the Aldi logo above it.
A spokesman at McDonald's said: "We are proud of the role we have played in High Wycombe for many years now. Working with ALDI, our new restaurant will help serve our customers in the town and we’re excited to be part of the area’s exciting growth.
"The proposed McDonald’s will be a fresh, bright, two storey restaurant, with take-away and drive-thru options. It will have 29 parking spaces, including 2 blue badge spaces.
"A new McDonald’s would lead to the creation of a minimum of 65 new jobs.
"With 1,412 restaurants throughout the UK and Ireland, employing more than 130,000 people, we are one of the largest restaurant businesses in the country.
"People are at the heart of everything we do which is why we constantly challenge ourselves to be better and make a positive impact in the communities we serve, delivering jobs, encouraging participation in sport and keeping our environment clean."
