Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to about the robbery of a Co-op supermarket in a Buckinghamshire town.
Police are appealing for information about a robbery that took place at the Your Co-op Food supermarket on Plomer Green Lane, Downley, in High Wycombe on Sunday, February 11.
A robber entered the supermarket between 9:45pm and 10:15pm on Sunday night and told a young staff member that they had something in their pocket, before ordering them to open the till.
The robber then told the staff member, a man in his late teens, to hand him tobacco, which he took before leaving the store.
Thames Valley Police has now released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to as part of their investigation into the robbery.
Detective Constable Charles Taylor of the Priority Crime Team, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “I am appealing to anybody who recognises this man to please get in touch with us as we believe he may have vital information about this robbery.
“If you are the person pictured, please come forward as soon as possible.”
Anyone with information about the robbery can contact the police by calling 101 or making a report to the force’s website, quoting reference number 43240067498.
Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers via its website or by calling 0800 555 111.
