Hundreds of people in a Buckinghamshire town have been left without electricity after a sudden outage this afternoon.
Over 200 people have been hit by a power cut in the High Wycombe area.
The outage was first reported in the HP11 area in High Wycombe at 2:08pm today (February 12) and is currently affecting 18 postcodes in the town.
Electricity provider Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) estimates that around 210 customers are continuing to be impacted by the power cut.
A spokesperson for SSEN has apologised to those affected by the outage, which they said was caused by "a fault on the main underground network".
Engineers are reportedly en route to High Wycombe, where they will attempt to restore power by 7:30pm this evening.
