The restaurant and chef line-up for a popular food and music festival in Buckinghamshire has been revealed, including celebs and a wide range of cuisines.
Tom Kerridge's annual Pub in the Park food and music festival is one of the most anticipated events in Marlow's social calendar, and momentum has already begun to build ahead of the four-day celebration from Thursday, May 19 to Sunday, May 23.
The team behind Pub in the Park have now revealed the complete restaurant line-up for this year's festival and the first batch of big names who will be gracing the main stage this spring to deliver talks and demonstrations.
The restaurants scheduled to set up shop in Higginson Park in May include Pub in the Park staples Vassu by Atul Kochhar and The Oarsman, alongside newcomers the Cafe Murano and Bookclub and Hangfire BBQ.
Meanwhile, the chefs recruited to join Tom Kerridge in his celebration of all things food and music include Mary Berry, Simon Rimmer, Jack Blumenthal and Jose Pizarro.
Speaking to the Free Press back in November, Steve Lane, Managing Director of Pub in the Park, promised the weekend would deliver ticket buyers “incredible value” for their money, with a wider range of free-to-attend talks and demonstrations than ever before.
True to his word, organisers announced music legend Van Morrison as the festival’s Thursday night headliner just last week, with the 78-year-old helping to kick Pub in the Park off with a charity gala hosted by Tom Kerridge and Mary Berry, among other famous faces.
Friday night is also set to be one to remember, with headliners Busted taking to the stage, while a range of other nostalgic performers including Scouting for Girls and BoyzLife make up the rest of the long weekend’s setlist.
Pre-sale tickets for all days and levels of the festival will be re-released on Thursday, February 8, at 10am before a general sale on Friday, February 9. Due to the high demand for previous batches, signing up for pre-sale access is advised.
