A MOTORIST feels 'shocked' with ASDA's decision to stop selling "cheaper and cleaner fuel".
Per Lutteman fears he won't be able to drive his old 1999 Saab anymore to the cost of fuel going up.
The resident from Marlow travels to ASDA in Crest Road, High Wycombe, to buy LPG fuel as it's the closest filling station that sells it.
The retailer announced earlier this month the removal of LPG is part of their refurbishment plans.

ASDA also confirmed it is axing its staffed kiosks converting to contactless payment.
Mr Lutteman explained how he was one of the first 100 buyers of the Saab Aero 9-5.
Per said: "My cousin called me when he’d heard I’d purchased this car, he said this model was built with most reliable parts possible. 25 years later I can honestly confirm this was true.
"In 2010 I was lucky to find BPV which are a Saab specialist and approved Autogas installers in Slough.
"They fitted the best Dutch Prins LPG system which took them two and half weeks to tune in to ensure a perfect car. This is still working 100% today with no issues.
"From then I’ve been happily filling up with LPG at High Wycombe ASDA service station.
"Not sure why they are shutting down more and more LPG station in the UK as this is a cleaner fuel for the environment; more so than Petrol and Diesel, as I’ve read the government want to reduce fossil fuels by 2026 but why LPG?
"All the official Taxi’s in Japan are still using LPG, so they can’t be wrong."
Mr Lutteman said the difference in fuel price is a factor for him travelling from Marlow to High Wycombe.
"There does seem to be a big disparity in fuel costs in the UK," he said.
"In Hastings the price was remarkably £1.31 per litre for petrol which is odd as they’re also distant from any fuel refinery distribution, compared to the cheapest here was £1.39 High Wycombe ASDA.
"In Marlow the fuel price is around £1.41 and LPG was £0.88, that’s a saving of £34.45 every time I fill up.
"With no availability in filling up with LPG this will unfortunately result in less driving in my SAAB.
"But also having 9 years experience in electric Plug In cars, I do not think the reliability and infrastructure in charging stations are any where ready in the UK."
