A group of child footballers who regularly play in Flackwell are celebrating after their much-used car park has been refurbished.
Flackwell Heath Minors Football Club, who play at Green Dragon Lane, received help from both Chepping Wycombe Parish Council as well as Buckinghamshire Council to get safety restored.
Improvements include laying down gravel and widening both sides.
Declan Breen, chairman of Flackwell Heath FC Minors said: “We really couldn’t have done it without their support and the work done by our grants manager Maxine Ashman.
“Anyone who has parked their car at Green Dragon Lane in the last few years will be familiar with the condition of the car parks.
“The work carried out has widened both sides and the re-surfacing has vastly improved the condition for match days and training.”
