Golf enthusiasts have celebrated the birthday of a long-standing fellow club member.
Members of the Harewood Downs Artisan Golf Club in Amersham got together to honour one of their long-standing golfers Alf Osborne.
The 90-year-old retired milkman spent his working life in the Berkhampstead area.
He said job got him used to the level of walking required to play golf and stay fit, although covering 18 holes can be a “bit tiresome some days.”

The keen golfer gets out and about on the green rain or shine, and on his birthday his fellow club members joined him for a nine-hole stableford competition in chilly winter weather before a pint at the clubhouse.
A handmade trophy with the logo of Express Dairy, Alf’s previous employer, was presented to the competition winner Rod Stratford, 80.
The golf lovers posed for a picture with the club's oldest member Brian Brown (pictured in the middle), who turns 98 this summer. Rod, Alf and Brian all play golf regularly.
