A POWER outage has left dozens of homes and businesses without electricity.
Unplanned power cuts hit across Buckinghamshire in the early hours of the morning following high winds during the night.
Some areas had their power restored within a couple of hours, but many customers will have to wait well into the afternoon and evening to have their electricity restored.
Here are the affected postcodes where UK Power Networks customers were left without power: HP17 8, HP19 0, HP19 3, HP19 9, HP20 1, HP20 2, HP22 4, HP22 5, HP22 4, HP23 4, HP17 9, HP17 8, HP18 0, HP19 3, HP19 7, HP19 8, HP23 5, HP23 6 and HP4 1.
For most of theses areas, power is estimated to be back on between 2pm and 3.30pm today (January 22).
SSE customers in HP11 postcode area in High Wycombe town centre were hit by a power but at about 5am today.
The affected postcodes are: HP11 1AA, HP11 1BA, HP11 1JX, HP11 1LT, HP11 1NA, HP11 1NF, HP11 2AG, HP12 3AA
SSE said power is estimated to be back on by 8pm.
