A woman is confirmed to have died following a crash on the M40 this morning (January 21).
The crash happened at around 6am on Sunday, January 21, southbound between Junctions 7 and 6.
Police have reopened the carriageway following investigative work.

Thames Valley Police said: "Tragically, we are able to confirm that a woman has died following a road traffic collision on the M40 southbound this morning.
"The carriageway will remain closed southbound between junctions 8A and 6 until at least the early afternoon for investigative work.
"We would like to thank the public for their patience and understanding.
"Our thoughts are with the woman's next of kin, who have been made aware."
The AA reported the crash involved a car and a lorry.
