Temperatures in Buckinghamshire could reach as low as -4°C as the cold weather continues to hit the county.
The Met Office has predicted that this will take place in the evening of Wednesday, January 17, with a potential ‘low risk of snowfall’ also due to arrive in the Thames Valley that day.
During the working week, temperatures are not expected to reach over 5°C but this weekend could see it rise to 8°C-10°C in certain parts of Bucks.
The Met Office said: “Whilst conditions should gradually turn milder, this transition brings the chance of some snow.
“Once established, milder and wetter than normal conditions seem likely to persist through to late January, although the south could have some drier spells of weather at times, especially later in the month, when the chance of overnight frost and fog increases once again.”
Buckinghamshire saw a very brief snowfall at the start of the month.
