Plan to demolish huge house in Seer Green, Rawlings Farm, Rawlings Lane (PL/23/3818/FA)

Applicant Paul Levinson has applied for permission to demolish the existing 17th century 10-bedroom house, pool house and garages.

The 36-acre country pile, located roughly halfway between the villages of Chalfont St. Giles and Seer Green, features a tennis court, heated pool, climatically-controlled wine cellar, 48ft cinema room and oil-fired Aga.

The adjacent woodland includes a tree house and a zip wire, while the open pastureland attracts wildlife including fallow deer.

The application proposes to replace the £6.75m home with a new property, garages and pool house, with additional vehicular access.

The house is believed to have accommodated personnel of the Royal Air Force during the Second World War, while the land itself dates to Saxon times.

Plan to build swimming pool on main road, Temple House, 2 Temple Street, Brill (24/00058/APP)

A householder has applied to the council to build an external swimming pool at a property just off the main road in Brill, including an air source heat pump and plant equipment.

The main house at the site dates to the 17th century, while there are also two outbuildings located there on a large plot of land, which are Grade II listed.

The proposals are situated away from the existing buildings and include extending an existing pathway leading down the garden towards the pool area.

Plan to use ‘summer house’ for holiday lets, The Paddock, Longrow, Wicken Road, Leckhampstead (24/00072/APP)

Applicant Mr O Brien has applied for a change of use so a summer house on the pig and poultry farm can be used for holiday lets.

The retrospective application is only seeking a change of use for the ‘temporary’ summer house at the site, where the poultry and livestock are also processed and sold.
