It’s been a wet and windy few days across Buckinghamshire – as evidenced by these photos.
Storm Henk has left parts of Buckinghamshire, and much of the UK, submerged in flood water with some homes also facing power outages as the impact of recent bad weather continues to be felt.
Flood warnings are currently in place for properties closest to the River Thames from All Saints Church and between Bisham and Little Marlow and continued property flooding is also expected in Bourne End.
The Met Office also issued a yellow warning for ice across parts of the county this morning (January 8), with small amounts of snow leading to slippery surfaces in a few places.

Met Office spokesperson Stephen Dixon said the sudden change in conditions is due to cold air from the north and east replacing wet westerly air.
He said: “It is a cold regime, and that theme continues for much of the week.
“Temperatures through the week will remain below average for this time of year.
“If you do have to travel in icy conditions plan your route and check for delays and road closures.
“If you are driving … look out for potential hazards and keep your speed down. Using a higher gear may be more appropriate.”
