A resident in a Buckinghamshire town caught sight of a 15-minute snowfall this afternoon.
Anna Batarina, who lives on Chesham Road in Amersham, saw snow beginning to fall from the window of her home in the town at around 12:40pm this afternoon (January 8).
Anna said the light snowfall, which she took a short video to document, lasted for around 15 minutes.
It comes after the Met Office issued a yellow warning for ice across Buckinghamshire after temperatures plummeted to near zero last night (January 7).
Forecasters predicted that “small amounts of snow” would fall in the Buckinghamshire and Berkshire region from 3pm today until the early hours of tomorrow morning.
