A road in a Buckinghamshire village has been closed after a large oak tree was blown over by Storm Henk.
Residents in Amersham spotted a large fallen tree blocking the road on Bell Lane near Derwent Close in Little Chalfont yesterday evening (January 2).
Traffic control signals were already in place on Bell Lane while Cadent Gas roadworks took place, beginning at 10:30am on January 2 with an expected end date of January 8.

As of this morning (January 3), Bell Lane has been closed at the Chalfont Station Road Railway Bridge, with contractors currently on site to carry out a removal operation.
Storm Henk has disrupted transport and power networks across the UK, including Buckinghamshire, since January 1, with yellow weather warnings for heavy rain and wind in place until 9pm yesterday and flood alerts remaining active along the River Thames between Hurley and Cookham.
