Emergency services have treated a man after the Christmas tree lights caught on fire.
The emergency services were alerted shortly before 2pm on Christmas Day after reports of a living room fire in Chalfont St Peter.
One fire engine and crew from Gerrards Cross and two fire crews from the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service rushed to Royal Close.
Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “The fire was located in the livingroom and believed to have started by Christmas tree lights.

“The room was 30 percent damaged by the fire and 100 percent smoke damaged.”
One man was treated by South Central Ambulance Service.
To make the area safe, the firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, thermal imagery camera, other small gear and an immediate emergency care kit.
