A POLICE investigation is underway after multiple sheep were attacked in Aylesbury.
Several sheep were injured in the attack which took place at an Aylesbury farm on Wednesday, December 27.
It is understood that a pregnant sheep was attacked and had to be urgently checked over by a vet.
A Rural Police spokesperson said: "Today PC Tillyer visited a victim who has had a number of his sheep attacked by a German Shepherd in the Aylesbury area.
"One of the ewe’s is pregnant and therefore had to be checked over urgently by a vet.
"The owner of the dog has been identified and enquiries are being completed"
