A flood warning has been issued to parts of Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.
On December 27, parts of the South East of England were badly impacted by Storm Gerrit, with adverse weather conditions expected to continue.
Published on December 28, flood alerts have been issued to the following places:
- Marsworth
- Dorchester
- Long Marston
- Rowsham
- North Aylesbury
- Cuddington
- Thame
- Ickford
- Wheatley
- Drayton St Leonard
- Overy
- Horsenden
- Princes Risborough
- Chalgrove
- Stadhampton
The Government website states: “River levels may start to rise over the next few days in response to the forecast rainfall, although any rise is not expected to be significant.
“Further rainfall is forecast for the remainder of the week; we are monitoring the situation.
“Avoid using low-lying footpaths near local watercourses.”
