People living in one part of Buckinghamshire have complained about the infrequency of post-delivery from Royal Mail, with households waiting for letters to arrive.
Residents in the Aylesbury Vale claimed they received no letters in the days leading up to Christmas.
John Fowler quoted his postman, where "on average three letters for every house await delivery."
He even went as far as to claim Royal Mail 'abandoned mail deliveries in Aylesbury Vale'.
He told the Free Press: "My postman has just told me that the Aylesbury Vale sorting office managers have instructed all their staff not to take out ordinary mail but only parcels.
"My postman thinks there are, on average, 3+ letters for every house awaiting delivery."
Royal Mail disputes these claims, confirming both parcels and letters continue to be delivered to the area.
