A wedding photographer from Bucks has been named the best wedding photographer by Muddy Stilettos.
Danielle Croucher from Calvert Green, Buckingham, was crowned the best wedding photographer of the year in Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire in Muddy Stilettos Awards.
To make her year even better, the mum-of-one was a regional finalist for the South Central area in The Wedding Industry Awards 2024 held in November.
Danielle, who owns Danielle Newton Photography, said: “I am so proud of what I have achieved. I hoped to win the Award this year for my daughter, I gave birth to her in April and wanted to win for her to show her that you can achieve anything you put your mind to.
She was drawn to photography 14 years ago after her beloved great gran sadly passed away.
“During my last year of GCSEs my Great Gran passed away, one of the last things I did was show her some of the photography work I was creating.

“My Great Gran inspired me after she passed as I realised that a photograph is all we really have to remember someone by, capturing memories throughout our lives is so important, so I want to help as many people as I can to capture and create memories to cherish forever.”
Danielle, who graduated from university in Photography & Fashion Advertising, loves being part of couples’ special day.
On the special day itself, she is more than an average wedding photographer, she said.
“Also how I work with my clients throughout their wedding journey and afterwards,” she said.
“I speak to my clients before their weddings about what they are wanting or not wanting and give them ideas if they need and help them with their journey if asked. On the wedding day I am never just a photographer, I have helped dress the Bride, I help with the buttonholes for the men, I have done hair for the bridesmaids and helped wherever I can. I will always go above and beyond to ensure their wedding day is as special as possible,” Danielle explained.
