A local councillor has handed out gift bags to those in need in his ward each Christmas for the last three years.
Maz Hussain, Buckinghamshire Councillor for Downley, knocked on doors around his ward on Saturday, December 23, spreading festive cheer to those in need.
He has been handing out Christmas gift bags to his constituents in High Wycombe for the last three years and said the initiative has been "eye-opening" about the number of people who struggle over Christmas.

In a statement posted to his social media, Cllr Hussain wrote: "Some of us are blessed to be surrounded by loved ones, and sadly, some of us are sometimes more isolated and have less company.
"I have had more requests and nominations for people to receive gift bags this year than ever before, and quite a few people across High Wycombe have reached out to ask if I could help with any Christmas toys for their kids."
Alongside photos of members of his ward receiving their gift bags, Cllr Hussain wrote that he was "delighted" to help those in need in the community for the third year running and wished everyone a "Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year".
