A museum in Buckinghamshire has launched a calendar featuring photographs of a picturesque Thames-side town taken by residents to help fund a 'major' refurbishment of its premises.
Marlow Museum unveiled the new calendar, which is available for purchase for £10 at the site and in Marlow Bookshop, earlier this month, with a compilation of snaps including of All Saints Church, Bisham Abbey, Mary Shelley's home in West Street and Westhorpe House.
The photographers credited in the collection of photographs are Paul Merchant, Della Fitzgerald, Kevin Fox and Ruth Polleit Riechert, the latter of whom recently moved to Marlow and had the idea for the calendar whilst working at the museum on a voluntary basis.

Ruth said the calendar has so far been a success with customers, adding that the proprietors of Marlow Bookshop were pleased to offer residents and visitors alike a truly local product after being unable to meet requests for postcards of the area.
Details about the museum's refurbishment are not yet forthcoming but are expected to be revealed in the new year.
