Trains between Milton Keynes Central and London Euston have been hit by ‘severe disruption’.
National Rail warned passengers of major disruption between London Euston and Milton Keynes Central today (December 21).
The busy route was closed momentarily after damage to the overhead electric wires near Hemel Hempstead.
Some lines had reopened at about 3pm, but journeys between Milton Keynes and London Euston were expected to be severely disrupted, including cancellations, delays up to 90 minutes or revised trains.
Major disruption is expected until 5.30pm.
Avanti West Coast customers could use their tickets on Chiltern Railways trains between Birmingham New Street and London Marylebone.
